Met gala 2026 unveils exclusive merchandise to mark fashion's artistic inauguration
The Metropolitan Museum of Art's annual Met Gala is poised to make history as the event inaugurates the newly constructed 12,000-square-foot Condé M. Nast Galleries, which will serve as the permanent home for the Costume Institute. This year's 'Fashion Is Art' theme solidifies fashion's place alongside fine Art, exploring the dressed body across 5,000 years of artistic depictions.

Met store unveils limited-edition items
In anticipation of tonight's extravaganza, The Met Store has released a range of exclusive, special-edition items inspired by the 'Costume Art' exhibition.
