A first-time fan’s revelation
Jonsson, part of the prestigious Cartier Style et Luxe judging panel, admitted this was his first time attending the event, describing it as “utterly amazing.” He noted that his passion for cars and Cartier aligned perfectly, creating a truly ideal experience. The timing, he confessed, was simply fortunate, having missed previous years due to work commitments.
The roadster’s return
The highlight of Jonsson’s weekend was undoubtedly showcasing the new, unreleased Cartier Roadster. The brand, famed for its mechanical boldness since 2002, is returning with an enhanced design prioritizing both comfort and elegance. He sported a striking medium-sized model in 18-carat yellow gold and steel – a truly exceptional timepiece. “I love watches that have a bit of a history behind them,” Jonsson explained, “and this Roadster really embodies that.”
Beyond the wrist: a lifelong enthusiasm
Jonsson’s fascination with motorsports isn’t just a recent development; it’s a deeply ingrained part of his family history. “They're quite danger-averse,” he chuckled, “so if anything screams danger, they stay away from it, whereas I’m the person to go towards it.” He consistently gravitates towards speed and the challenge of mastering powerful machines – a sentiment that extends to his appreciation for horses.

Despite his burgeoning acting career, Jonsson remains surprisingly grounded. He’s currently preparing for The Chaperones, a new film starring Cooper Hoffman, Paul Dano, and Billy Barratt, produced by A24. Describing it as “something that I am extremely proud of and excited for,” he envisions a film that will elicit a range of emotions – laughter and tears. “It’s the kind of film that hopefully people respond to,” he said.
