Olivier rousteing takes the helm at rabanne, aiming for fashion's future

French designer Olivier Rousteing has been appointed as the new creative director of Spanish fashion house Paco Rabanne, marking a significant step in the brand's evolution, according to an announcement on Tuesday.

Rousteing, who spent 14 years at Balmain before leaving in November 2025, will stage his first show for Rabanne at Paris Fashion Week in March 2027 for the Fall/Winter 2027 season.

In a statement, Rousteing expressed his honor at joining the house, citing its spirit of innovation, craftsmanship, and fearless creativity, which has inspired generations.

He also paid tribute to his predecessor, Julien Dossena, who exited the brand after 13 years, calling his creative legacy
