Jo and kush: music and momentum
Youngest pairing and now strong frontrunners, Jo and Kush have been remarkably busy. Kush, at 19 during filming, is already focusing on his burgeoning music career, with a new single, ‘Blue,’ slated for release. Jo, meanwhile, hasn’t slowed down, jetting off to Gambia earlier this year. They've also leveraged their newfound notoriety, appearing on various BBC shows discussing their incredible adventure – and celebrating with a suitably chaotic launch party in April.
Molly and andrew: northern irish adventures continue
The father-daughter duo from Northern Ireland, currently in second place, haven’t confined themselves to the UK. They’ve been enjoying a meet-up in Manchester, alongside plenty of catch-ups with fellow cast members. Molly’s been indulging in a bit of retail therapy, attending a JLS concert, and exploring the rugged beauty of Ireland. Andrew, surprisingly, conquered the Manchester Marathon in April.
Katie and harrison: croatian escapes and family time
Katie and Harrison, currently sitting in third, traded the racecourse for the Adriatic coast, embarking on a trip to Croatia and Slovenia in May. Katie’s motivation? To prove to Harrison that this kind of exploration isn’t a frivolous expense. They explored Plitvice Lakes National Park, Zagreb, and Lake Bled, securing interviews and, crucially, celebrating Katie’s 22nd birthday and Easter with their family in Wales.
Puja and roshni: asia beckons
Sadly, Puja and Roshni were eliminated early, but they’ve channeled their post-race energy into a substantial backpacking trip across Asia. Their journey began in Vietnam in April, with a steady stream of Instagram updates documenting their experiences. A quick detour to Amsterdam added a touch of European flair to their itinerary.
A measured conclusion
As the dust settles on season six, it’s clear these participants aren’t just recalling a race; they’re building new lives, pursuing passions, and forging connections. The Race Across the World experience appears to have acted as a catalyst, propelling them toward unexpected paths.
